Review by hotel critic
From the moment we arrived at the lodge, we were blown away by the level of comfort and attention to detail. the heavy baggage we carried was no issue at all, as Scott kindly offered to help us bring it inside. the ironing facilities in the lodge were a lifesaver, ensuring our clothes looked immaculate for our adventures in Aviemore. the heating was top-notch, keeping us warm and cozy after a long day of exploring. the sitting area was perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea or coffee, which were conveniently provided in the well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our meals at the dining table and even had the pleasure of dining al fresco on the terrace, taking in the breathtaking view of the river and mountains. the garden furniture was a lovely touch, allowing us to soak up the sunshine during the day and stargaze at night. the cookware and kitchen utensils were of high quality, making it easy for us to whip up a delicious meal after a day of outdoor activities. the electric kettle was fast and efficient, perfect for our daily tea rituals. the electric blankets on the beds were a luxurious touch, ensuring we had a restful night's sleep. the flat-screen TV and carpeted floors added a touch of luxury to the lodge, making it feel like a home away from home. Overall, our stay at the lodge far exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to return for another unforgettable experience in Aviemore.
